Steps to take backup on the Pixel 7 Series

Back-Up and Restore Data on Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 6 Pro, 6, 6a

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap the System.
  3. Tap on Backup. Make sure to toggle on Backup by Google One.
  4. Tap the Back up now.

Wait until backing up your Google Pixel data. It will back up all your Pixel’s data.

How to Back Up Photos on Google Pixel using Google Photos App

  1. Open the Google Photo app on your Pixel.
  2. Tap the Profile icon at the top right corner.
  3. Tap the Back up.
  4. Tap on More (Three vertical dots) at the top right corner.
  5. Tap on Backup settings.
  6. Toggle on Back up & sync.

It will automatically back up uploaded photos and videos from your Pixel phone to your Google account.

How to Back Up Contacts on Google Pixel using Contact App

  1. Open the Google contacts app on your Pixel.
  2. Tap on the Profile symbol at the top right.
  3. Tap the Contact app settings.
  4. Tap on Google Contacts sync settings.
  5. Tap Also syncs device contacts.
  6. Toggle on Automatically back up & sync device contacts. Choose your Google account.

Enable Auto-Sync on Google Pixel Before Factory Reset to Back Up All Data

  1.  Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down & tap on the Passwords & accounts.
  3. Tap on your Google account if you want to back up data.
  4. Tap on Account sync.
  5. You can see calendars, contacts, docs, drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, and news.
  6. Toggle on the Button you want to back up.
