For Pixel 7 series Google One VPN is releasing

When Google Pixel 7 series launched they announced two features that are coming soon VPN by Google One and the other was Pixel 7 and 7 Pro’s security tentpole which was expected to come in December. Now, Google is releasing the free VPN by Google One for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Facts about Google One VPN:

This feature masks user traffic and IP address, decreasing, and online tracking. Google VPN also provides protection on public Wi-Fi and from other networks. It is only accessed through Google Accounts and does not work for Workspace and other accounts. Google says it will never use your VPN connection to track, collect, or sell your online activity. When you open the Google One application, a new splash screen explains that your Pixel comes with a VPN by Google One and that management can be done from within this application.

There is also a new section within the “Benefits” tab of the Google One app that provides information on how to access this functionality. Pixel 7 or 7 Pro users, they’ll be able to add a Quick Settings toggle that allows you to quickly connect to the Google One VPN. Alternatively, you’re able to access settings from Settings > Network and Internet > VPN. The Pixel 7 is on sale in 17 countries, and in some countries, it’s not available like in Singapore and India.

Lastly, to allow this feature on your Pixel 7 or 7 Pro, ensure that the user needs signs into your Google Account. Open the Google One app and click “Benefits” > VPN > View details > Enable VPN. Now you can use this feature easily.
