Season 5 of Battlefield is right now in pre-production but it will also come with a new specialist, hardware, and a new Battle Pass. They bring new surroundings like an overgrown area and encourage a combination of vehicular and infantry combat in which teamplay is the key to victory.
The season also features the Egyptian-born Specialist and security expert Zain, multiple weapons and a Battlefield-classic throwable, a new tank, new assignments, and more. In starting 2023, update 3.2 will include the Specialist rework, featuring the move to a Class-based system and a set of balance adjustments.
