Apple initially intended to create a car that resembled Canoo’s Lifestyle Vehicle, a limousine-style vehicle without a steering wheel or pedals in which passengers could face one another. However, the project has since been scaled back. Full autonomous driving will not be available, but the car will be able to use a self-driving mode on highways. The vehicle’s design will now be more conventional, with a driver’s seat, steering wheel, and pedals.
