Users use messaging apps like Telegram and Whatsapp for texting and video calls. When this app needs to verify the user with the SIM verification code then the user easily signs up for an account. Now, Telegram removes this SIM requirement option for sign-ups and includes more security and privacy in the app.

Know how it works?
Since not all devices use a SIM card, limiting signups to those with a SIM or eSIM installed always felt a little exclusive. Telegram announced that this restriction would be lifted, allowing anyone, even those without a phone number, to sign up.
Telegram has collaborated with Fragment because the procedure still requires verification. Users of Fragment will be able to generate an anonymous Telegram login number. Like a SIM card, that number is private and only available to you.
Telegram is introducing additional security features as a result. The auto-delete timer for particular chats might be familiar to you. The messaging app now lets users set a global auto-delete timer that deletes all chats after a predetermined amount of time. You will be able to set a countdown for all new chats once the timer has been set.
In addition, users can choose to include older chats in that auto-delete timer. Telegram is updating a few features in large messaging threads for users who frequent large group chats.
Lastly, the first is a brand-new upgrade called “Topics 2.0,” which divides group topics into multiple threads. It gives the large chat the look and feel of a forum rather than a jumble of messages.
