For older Pixel phones Google Camera 8.7 is release

Version 8.7 of the Google Camera app is now available for older Pixel phones, a few months after it made its debut on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

The Google Camera app typically comes with a more recent version when Google introduces a new line of Pixel phones. The Pixel 7 series brought to Google Camera 8.7, an update that had remained exclusive to those phones up until this point.
