Pixel Feature Drop: Unified Security and privacy settings release

Android 13 QPR1 will be the 12th feature drop for the Pixel this December. Now on, it is available for Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro. Google is now rolling out the combined security and privacy settings for Pixel phones running Android 13 QPR1 to conclude the December Feature Drop.

The new Security & privacy menu in Settings features a shield with a checkmark and the description “App security, device lock, permissions” from Google.

A card with information about your device’s status and the ability to start a scan is the first item on this page. You will receive the green shield checkmark and the message “Looks good” if there are no issues. You will be prompted to take action if problems are discovered, as shown in the cover image above.
