Google promotes Assistant on Z Flip 4 via a 3D billboard in Times Square

For the past years, the Android team has collaborated with Samsung to produce partner videos that demonstrate how the operating system makes use of innovative hardware like foldable. A 3D anamorphic billboard in Times Square featuring Ludacris promotes the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Google Assistant, and YouTube Music as part of their ongoing joint advertising campaign.

A 3D anamorphic billboard lets you see the content right away. Google is utilizing one to continue its advertising campaign that features Assistant on the Flip 4. The Flip 4 is in its stand-like Flex mode configuration at 90 degrees.

In Ludacris’ album Word of Mouf, a dog tries to take a picture with a regular phone, but he fails. This is not the first time that pets have had their physical capabilities emphasized.

The musician requests that the song “Hey Google, play Stand Up by Ludacris,” which in an earlier advertisement, be played. This started with YouTube Music. The next command is to take a selfie, and we see hands-free photos being taken, like. After that, a few demonstrations emphasize the billboard’s three-dimensionality.

The new way to take pictures. The tagline, which includes a link to Samsung.com/GalaxyZFlip4, is Just like that. It is a very eye-catching promo in collaboration with Universal Music Group and the design studio CEKAI. The 3D billboard features Google’s advertisement at the New York Marriott Marquis on Broadway.

“I’m honored to partner with Google and Samsung and proud they’ve selected Stand Up as the campaign’s featured song, especially since 2023 marks 20 years since its release. Whether I’m meeting fans or taking pictures with my family and friends, my days are filled with up close and personal photos, so being able to use the Google Assistant to take a hands-free selfie on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will help me capture even more memories. With New York City being one of the biggest stages in the world, I’m excited to bring this innovative technology to life in a boundary-breaking billboard in the heart of Times Square.”

Just last month, Google and Ludacris partnered on the 3rd Annual Black-Owned Friday campaign.

“People love Google and Samsung products because they are built to foster a world of creation. That’s why we’ve put the innovation that supports self-expression at the center of this campaign. It’s also why we’re excited to capture the spirit and joy our product brings to everyday life in our most recent OOH activation. Over the years, our partnership with Samsung has set the bar on experimentation and creativity, and we’re incredibly excited to demonstrate the latest iteration of that with our new billboard featuring Ludacris and Google’s powerful software built to open up new possibilities for self-expression.”
