Carrying out the most recent stable Twitter for Android update (9.68.1), the application currently upholds a themed symbol on gadgets running Android 13 and higher. This applies to Samsung Galaxy phones as well as Google Pixel smartphones, which support Material You themeing on home screen icons.

When enabled, the icon of the Twitter app and any other apps that support the feature will change to match the colors of your wallpaper and system. Slack, Spotify, Telegram, Mastodon, and Reddit are just a few of the well-known apps that offer themed icons.

This most recent Twitter update still does not support the brand-new Twitter Blue, which provides the platform’s new form of verification and a few other features for $8 per month (or more) and is currently only available through the iOS app.
