Google has redesigned the weather card that can be found in Search on the mobile web following the release of the new Wear OS 3 app and Sun tile.

A blue prompt acknowledges the change on this updated weather card: ” New! a new weather search that gives you more information about your forecast.
In the upper left corner, Google noticed the ongoing temperature and what it “seems like,” while across that you get the condition, precipitation, moistness, and wind. You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius using the overflow menu.
The first of four tabs, Overview, has an updated iconography and a 24-hour forecast. Precipitation, wind, and humidity come next. Last but not least, a second carousel at the bottom displays the 10-day outlook and offers switching options. Weather.com is still the source of this information.
The Google Search weather card redesign is currently accessible through a browser on the mobile web. It doesn’t show up when you search for “weather” in the Google app for iOS or Android.
Google’s first-party operating system has a Weather experience (with the frog) that is more focused and is powered by the main Search app, whereas the other client offers a different experience. In 2021, it finally got a Material Theme makeover, displaying a little more data (like the dew point, pressure, UV index, visibility, and sunrise and sunset).
