As we all know that the One UI 5.0 phase is going on for Samsung fans and soon the One UI 5.1 phase is going to come. Samsung has so far provided One UI 5.0 update to more than 50 devices and those who have not received it yet will also get this update as soon as possible.

Samsung introduced several new features in One UI 5.0 such as new gestures, design, features, and more. One UI 5.0 also has a feature called Smart View that lets you enjoy multimedia content from your mobile and PC on your Samsung Smart TV. Now, Samsung introduced the Smart View improvements reflected in the One UI 5.0. Below you can check the complete information.

One UI 5.0 Smart View:

[Dim the phone screen: Provided by the side button]

The ” Dark mobile phone screen ” menu, which was provided in the toolbar that appears after connecting to Smart View, is provided as a side button from One UI 5.0. Even when the toolbar is hidden, it has been improved so that it can be used easily and conveniently with the side button. If you use the darkened phone screen function, you can reduce battery consumption, so please use it a lot.

[Hide notifications on the TV screen: new function provided]

While using Smart View, phone notifications were being exposed (mirrored) together on the connected device. When using Smart View for business purposes such as presentations, or when watching a movie on a large screen, notifications from the phone are exposed as they are, which is one of the factors that hinder the mirroring experience.

Also, please use and pay attention to the ” App Cast ” function added from OneUI 4.1. When you run an app such as YouTube or Netflix and select the AppCast menu in the Smart View toolbar, the screen of the app is mirrored with an optimized screen on the TV, and you can freely use other apps on your phone.
