Last week it was reported that the changelog of the app in the Google Play Store has been missing. Several bloggers reported the concern but waited for official confirmation.
The Google Play Store received a new design last year and seems the issue occurred during the update rollout. The redesign comes across both mobile devices on the web as well as desktop machines and laptops.
On Android, the Play Store app was still showing changelogs without any problems. The update bug is now reportedly informed to the officials.
The company says it was a simple bug, as confirmed by APK Mirror owner Artem Russakovskii. At some point, changelogs will return to the Play Store on the web.
Good news, everyone!
I was able to reach someone on the Play Store team who looked into the issue of changelogs disappearing on the web and confirmed that it wasn’t intentional (read: it’s a bug).
They’re coming back 🔜. How soon, I’m not it sure, but it shouldn’t take long. pic.twitter.com/xrm5sUmXTJ
