Android Auto rolled out a seekable progress bar for music and podcasts

Recently, Android Automotive gets an enhanced experience and also the Waze app is now available on select Renault vehicles and is headed to more cars with Google built-in. Earlier, some users reported that they are facing Bluetooth connection issues on Android Auto after the January 2023 update.

The issue was reported by several Reddit users that received quite a number of confirmations from other users via comments and upvotes on the first day after the update rollout. Of course, we are sure that all users won’t be affected. Only in the coming days and weeks will it become clear how widespread the problem actually is.

According to the latest report, now Android Auto is starting to roll out a seekable progress bar for music and podcasts. Google announced last week at CES that this feature would be coming after they rolled out the new “cool walk” split screen layout to everyone. This doesn’t seem to be widely rolled out yet. We don’t see it yet personally, but a few others on Reddit have it. Does anyone else have this yet?
