Recently, OnePlus rolled out an Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 software update for a number of devices including the Nord series. The original OnePlus Nord earlier grabbed the December 2022 security patch update in some regions. Now, a new report stated that the OnePlus Nord (2020) will not receive Android 13-based Oxygen OS13 officially.
The company mentioned during the launch, Nord will get 2 OS Updates and 3 Years of Security Patches down the line. As Nord was launched with Android 10-based Oxygen OS 10.5, it had already received.

I felt like clearing out this misinformation in public as some unofficial so-called “tech news” websites are spreading misinformation that Nord will receive OS13 or something like that. Nope, it won’t. Guys, always cross-verify for forum posts from the OnePlus official community or from the OnePlus community moderators.
