Podcast services are being in talks for the last several years. Google Podcasts was launched to listen to anything across platforms. Now a new report claimed that the search result is now disappeared.
The pitch of Google Podcasts originally was that it was available across a variety of devices. Starting back in 2018, Google Podcasts create hype and even worked better but now, Podnews reports that Google has removed Podcasts from Search results.
The company has confirmed to the publication that this is working “as intended,” meaning the company has purposefully removed this experience from Search. There are a few results that are still coming up but the majority of results are missing.
The reason is still not explained by Google beyond a spokesperson saying that “we’re constantly experimenting with ways to improve the experience for our users.”
