Android Auto users are now still facing issues in the navigation service, the GPS is creating bugs. Users facing crash issues. However, a section of Google Maps users is reporting (1, 2, 3) issues with GPS signals on Android Auto.
For the last couple of days, Google Maps on Android Auto getting issues related to “Searching for GPS”. The issue was reported on Reddit by some users across multiple car models, smartphone models, and Android Auto versions.
The main issue is that it isn’t occurring when using the Google Maps app outside of Android Auto. Users report that the problem only occurs once the phone has been put to sleep, with the screen turned off. Currently, the solution is still unknown.
