The ASUS Zenfone 9 and numerous other smartphones are supported by Google ARCore

The list of devices supported by Google’s augmented reality platform, ARCore, steadily gaining traction among smartphone users, is periodically updated by the Mountain View company’s developer team.

Although camera filters and other features that some people may deem unnecessary are frequently associated with augmented reality, there are also considerably more practical implementations, such as the live view on Google Maps.

Obviously, a device needs to support these features in order to use them, and here is where ARCore, which just welcomed 17 additional devices, comes into action.
