Google Messages makes redesign of voice recorder UI [Gallery]

Google first made voice message transcription available to older generations with the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

With the development of a new user interface for the voice recorder, Google Messages is currently enhancing the creation experience. When you want to record a voice message, you need to hold down the microphone icon until you finish the message.

The duration is listed to the left of the bar, and you can “Slide to cancel” at any time. The message is saved in the text field, where you can listen to it or delete it once you’re done. In the impending upgrade, which we empowered, you tap another round symbol which is a decent chance to separate from the close-by Gboard receiver and Messages begins recording. Under the time slipped-by pointer with a throbbing spot is a waveform review.

You tap the stop button once complete with the capacity to play it back directly in this new UI. The submit buttons “Restart” and “Done” flank that control.

With some whimsical touches and animations, the brand-new Google Messages voice recorder is quite delightful. In addition to adhering to Dynamic Color, the user experience resembles the Recorder app on Pixel.

When Google intends to launch this voice messages experience redesign is unknown.
