Tesla rolled out FSD Beta v11.3.2 (2022.45.11) update [Check Full Release Notes]

After a long time, Tesla updated its software with the latest update. As per the latest reports, Tesla FSD Beta v11.3.2 has been rolled out for North American users. This update will be identified with version number 2022.45.11. This update has a wider range of users than previous updates.

This update improved body position on wide lanes by biasing the direction of the upcoming turn to allow other cars to go around as well as handling in high curvature or large truck scenarios by offsetting in the lane to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles on the road and improve comfort.

However, the latest update reduced false drift around objects in wide lanes and near intersections by improving the modeling of object kinematics in low-speed scenarios and added a text intro to the UI to inform the FSD of the planned action, also improved the visualization of vehicles on the path before deceleration, with a v-character rendered with varying opacity and speed to indicate the amount of acceleration while decelerating, and also Draw a solid line where the car is about to stop.

Tesla FSD Beta 11.3.2 extended the maximum trajectory optimization range for smoother control on high-curvature roads and distant vehicles at high speeds and improved the accuracy of detecting other vehicles’ intention to move. Accuracy improved by 23 percent in other-vehicle steering situations, and 12 percent less for Autopilot to falsely detect a vehicle stopping ahead.
