Official Details Shows:
- T-Mobile is pleased to provide a new, free software update for your Android Smartphone.
- This release includes an Android 1 3 upgrade, bug fixes, and security and system improvements.
- If you choose not to do so now, the update will take place AUTOMATICALLY between midnight and 3 AM starting April 2nd, 2023.
- This will not consume your data.
- Please do not turn off your device while the update is installed. During Installation, you cannot use your device at all, even dial 9-1-1.
Note: As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.
How To Update:
Connect to an available Wi-Fi network, if you use mobile data, there will be a warning displayed
- Go to [Settings] – [system] – [system updates]
- Click [check for updates], if there is an update, click [DOWNLOAD&INSTALL NOW].
