Camera Assistant update: More Galaxy phones receive Auto Lens

The Camera Assistant app was made available by Samsung with the Galaxy S22 series, and it gave users greater control over the behavior and performance of the stock Camera app. Later, the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Z series of more expensive smartphones received the Camera Assistant app.

However, only the Galaxy S22 and S23 series had access to the Auto Lens Switching feature.

The Camera Assistant app has now been updated by Samsung to version 1.1.01.0. The Auto Lens Switching feature is now available on a wider range of Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy S20 series.

The Auto Lens Switching feature will only be available on these devices if they have the One UI 5.1 update. Unfortunately, the component hasn’t been stretched out to the System Z Flip series, Universe Z Overlay, World Z Overlap 5G, and World Z Crease 2.
