Google is now tackling fake contributions on Google Maps, Updated Bard

Google is working to solve several fake strategies on its platform. Now, the company is working to solve Google Maps related issues. Google is getting ready to fix those wrong public contributions through reviews, images, videos, and rating.

The company has recently stated that it officially deleting over 300 million posts, that include reviews, images, and videos from the platform in 2022. Specifically, it removed over 115 million reviews, over 200 million photos, and seven million videos. Furthermore, it was able to protect over 185,000 businesses from suspicious activity, and prevented 20 million fake Business Profiles from popping up on the platform.

Google also filed a lawsuit that successfully took down a group of fraudsters who were impersonating Google through telemarketing calls.

Currently, Google Bard has used LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) and now according to the fresh report, Google is now incorporating PaLM (Pathways Language Model) for improved math and logic capabilities, with “coding coming soon.”

Google says Bard will “better understand and respond to your prompts for multistep word and math problems.” Previously, the Google chatbot would return random answers because it was not really trying to solve your query.
