Samsung’s next Unpacked event is expected to happen in August this year. The event will be focused on the arrival of the new foldable devices Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The company will also launch the new Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets along with the Galaxy Watch 6 series of smartwatches.
Now, the reliable tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Watch 6 will arrive in two sizes 40mm and 44mm. The same sizes were also found on the last year’s Galaxy Watch 5. The 46mm Galaxy Watch 6 will feature a 1.47-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels, which is an upgrade from its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 5, which had a 1.4-inch display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels.
Galaxy Watch 6: 40mm and 44mm screen size
Compared to the Watch 5’s 1.2-inch display with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels, the second, smaller 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 is said to have a display with a resolution of 432 x 432 pixels.
The most recent leak revealed that the 44mm version of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Series will have a battery capacity of 425 mAh. The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro is an upgrade from the Galaxy Watch 5, which had a 1.4-inch display with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels, but the tipster did not provide any details about it. The Galaxy Watch 6 Pro is also expected to be part of the Watch 6 series.
