According to the latest report, Google released the Android Studio Flamingo stable version 2022.2.1 update. The latest update only includes four improvements such as:
- Jetpack Compose and Material 3 templates: Google now recommends that developers use Jetpack Compose to create new projects, and the templates use Material 3 and Jetpack Compose by default.
- Experimental features Live Edit (Compose): The Compose feature pushes code tweaks directly to the emulator or connected device, creating apps faster. The adjustments made by developers through this function are automatically saved, and the UI changes can be seen in real-time.
- Support for previewing theme app icons: You can preview in real-time how the app icon will react with the theme or wallpaper.
- Dynamic color preview: This new feature enables you to dynamically change UI color profiles based on your device’s wallpaper.
