April 10/2023: T-Mobile today released the April 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S23 series in the US with the build number AWC8 and the size package of this update is around 941MB.

April 05/2023: Samsung today released the April 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S23 series in India and Indonesia with the build number:

Mar 30/2023: Recently, we were informed that the South Korean tech giant was planning to introduce a new software update that will primarily bring camera features to the Galaxy S23 series. Some sources claim that this update will be available in the form of a new patch.

As per the latest report, Samsung has rolled out the April 2023 security patch update for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea. The latest software update introduced new features for the Galaxy S23’s camera and a few other innovations.

As per the official details, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series has received the update with build numbers S918NKSUIAWC8, S918NOKRIAWC8, and S918NKSUIAWC5, and the package size of the update is around 922MB. You can see the full changes that were added in this update here.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series April 2023 Patch Changelog:

  • A function has been added to the gallery so that you can immediately delete photos that are being processed immediately after taking them with the camera.
  • For faster photo taking, the AF concept has been changed so that when the user presses the shooting button, the user can take a photo even when the focus is not completely set.
    However, if you want to shoot after completing Focus as before, please change the settings in the latest Camera Assistant.

  • Improved sharpness/flicker and added notice when shooting Ultrawide in low light indoors after setting Camera Video Mode > Super Steady On.

  • Fixed a phenomenon where a green line was displayed on the left side intermittently when shooting in the rear photo mode.
  • Improved image stabilization when shooting with FHD60 after setting Auto FPS Off in rear video.
  • Improved line-shaped banding noise in the sky in mid-low light when shooting high-pixel in low-mid light.
    Overall sharpness was optimized during high-pixel shooting, and intermittent blurring was improved through OIS stabilization.
  • Fixed a malfunction when shooting after Night Off in low light after selecting Shooting Speed ​​> High Resolution > Speed ​​Priority in Camera Assistant.

  • Fixed an issue where face recognition could not be recognized intermittently after ending a 3rd party video call.

How To Update:

  • Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
  • Swipe and then tap Software update or System updates. It will vary between models.
  • Tap Download and install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
  • When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
