As per the tipster, @analyst941 revealed that Apple brings some modifications to iPad users with iPad OS 17. These features are the new Stage Manager function and a personalized lock screen interface.
In this new below options are included:
- The External monitor supports a webcam
- Audio output source setting
- Support for several audio/video source transfers when Stage Manager is enabled
- Adjustable size Dock (external monitor)
- iPad screen off; external monitor stays on
As per the rumor, Apple is planning for a bigger iPad as a special iPadOS 17. Ross Young earlier revealed that the company is working on a 14.1-inch iPad and it may release at the start of 2024. There is one leak that Apple also working on the 16-inch model.
From the updates, the special edition of iPadOS 17 will support two 6K resolution 60 Hz refresh rate displays. Additionally, Apple is also working on including all features like iPhone lock screen personalization to iPad and changing the clock position on the iPad lock screen.
