Samsung device has a feature called Find my device enabling the owner who lost their device or misplace it somewhere to erase data from the device.
One Samsung user shared his experience through the post “I’m not looking for technical advice, I’ve spoken to Samsung about it before and it’s been less than useless,” writes u/Minimum-Lemon-402. This post is from Reddit and has 12,00 upvotes. More he writes on that is “I just wanted to inform and tell other Samsung owners and also just have a discussion.”
With features not only Samsung affected
Through his evaluation, it means this kind of feature not effected Samsung but also affected other devices. If talk about Google also has the Find My Phone and some others. In addition, he said that if even a full battery is charged phone then the after some it will be discharged and will disable features like Find My Mobile.
Sometimes the device is connected to the network but some features won’t work like Find My Mobile.

- Reboot phone
- Don’t unlock
- The smartphone is Turn On and connected to a network
- Open Find My Mobile on a computer/laptop and locate or call
- Now the service reports that it cannot connect
- Unlock phone
- Now Find my Mobile can connect
