Google started rolling out the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3.1 update to Pixel devices. Recently, Google rolled out May 2023 security patch update with the build number T3B3.230413.006. Addressed issues in this “minor update” include:
- Fixed various stability issues. (Issue #279246037, Issue #274339025, Issue #279301937)
- Fixed an issue that caused the first notification in the notification shade to get stuck with an offset. (Issue #273870112)
- Fixed a memory leak that affected the system UI.
- Fixed an issue where the volume level that was set while TalkBack was enabled did not persist after toggling TalkBack off and on again.
- Fixed issues with the system UI that sometimes caused apps to crash.
- Fixed issues that could cause a device to crash when using the camera.
- Fixed issues that sometimes caused excessive power drain.
How do I get the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 3.1?
If you’re already enrolled in the Android 13 Beta and your device is running Beta 3, you will automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to Beta 3.1. If your device is still on an older Beta build, you will automatically receive the Beta 3.1 patch once you update to QPR3 Beta 3. If you aren’t yet enrolled and would like to join Android Beta, please visit g.co/androidbeta.
Note: it may take up to 24 hours to receive the OTA update on your device. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > System updates. Thanks for your patience!
