Google Messages’ feature to Send photos faster was released last month. Now you will know how it will affect the file size, resolution, and quality with some tests.
Users can find Send photos faster in the Settings list which is enabled by default. This feature can use on both RCS and MMS with 2048 x 1152 to 1600 x 900. With this feature, users can shrink the file up to 60%, and the quality difference from the zoom in. When you send photos with this feature you notice it takes less time than before.
If you use the data/time-saving option quality may be reduced. Google Message must show a message that whether you prefer toggle enabled when this feature launches.
At last, if the user’s phone connection is better than the the performance of this enhances and setting in the image picker also. This feature is available in version 202300502_01 of Google Messages.
