A user’s OnePlus 8 Pro battery exploded when the phone was NOT charging and was in an idle state. OnePlus customer support service is saying that the “pressure on the motherboard” caused the blast.
After complaining on Twitter OnePlus said they have addressed the user’s concern in DM which ended up just being a simple generic message.
Now again contacting after-sales service, OnePlus is claiming that it user induced damage and when asked for written evidence or proof, OnePlus is NOT providing it.
