Samsung already released the May 2023 security patch update to its most of smartphones including some high-end models. Recently, Samsung rolled out May 2023 security patch to the Galaxy S21 series in multiple regions including the Asian, European, and Global markets.
The previous update caused some Galaxy S21 devices to freeze and reboot but the South Korean tech firm today rolled out the 2nd May 2023 security patch update that fixed this bug. According to the latest report, Samsung rolled out this update for the S21 series with the build number G99xBXXU7EWE6.
This update is currently available in Austria, Greece, the Philippines, Slovenia, Baltic Countries, Vietnam, Hungary, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Thailand, South-East European countries, Romania, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Bulgaria, Thailand, Spain, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you download it over WIFI so that you will not face any errors.
How To Update:
- Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
- Swipe and then tap Software Update or System Updates. It will vary between models.
- Tap Download and Install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
- When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
