Google has announced the release of Android 14 Beta 3 for Pixel phones, marking four weeks since the previous release at I/O 2023. The Pixel 7a model has now been included in the beta program.

With the introduction of Beta 3, developers can expect the attainment of the first Platform Stability milestone, signifying the finalization of APIs (level 34) and system behaviors. This development phase prompts developers to commence their “final testing and development work needed to ensure that a compatible version of your app will be ready for users at the final release to the ecosystem.”

Users of Pixel devices can report any issues they encounter by utilizing the Android Beta Feedback app. This app can be accessed through the app drawer or via Quick Settings, enabling users to submit bug reports to the Google issue tracker. Additionally, the Android Beta community on Reddit offers a platform for discussion and feedback.

Android 14 Beta 3 (UPB3) is now available for installation on the following Pixel models: Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel 7a. Furthermore, the Android Emulator also supports the installation of this beta version.

While most users will opt to install Android 14 Beta 3 through the Android Beta Program, alternative methods such as flashing or sideloading are also available for those who prefer them.
