For the Chromecast with Google TV released last year, Google today launched an April update. This update has a capacity of 166MB, which is a considerable update for a streaming media device, and many improvements have been introduced.

After installing the update and restarting Chromecast, you can see that the video settings provide more options here. In the new “Advanced Video Control” settings area, you can now choose your favorite dynamic range format. Options include Dolby Vision, HDR, and even SDR.
