With the release of iOS 15.2, Apple will add a new Parts and Service History function to the Settings app, allowing users to view the service history of their iPhone and confirm that the parts used for repair are genuine. According to Apple’s documentation, iPhone users with iOS 15.2 or later can go to Settings> General> About to access the parts and service history. Parts and service only in the history section of your iPhone when repairs are carried out on available.

Apple stated that the messages in the Service History section will not affect the ability to use the iPhone, its battery, display, or camera. This information is collected and stored on the device, and Apple uses it for service needs, security analysis and improvement of future products.
