In recent years, Samsung has proved to be a guarantee on the software support front in the field of smartphones but not only. The Korean giant, in fact, has continued to update its wearables over time, improving their stability and adding new functions (see for example the updates for Tizen-based smartwatches).
According to the latest report, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds 2 now gain a new software update that improves the reliability and stability of the wireless earbuds.
As per the report, this software update comes on a build number R190XXU0AVF1 and the size package of this update is only 2.33MB for the Galaxy Buds Pro while the Galaxy Buds 2 received this update with the build number R177XXU0AVF1 and the update size is 3.01MB.

With IPX7 certification, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is protected against fresh water immersion for 30 minutes at a depth of up to one meter – i.e. if they fall into the bathtub for a minute or you want to clean them under some running water you won’t have to worry about them. It’s a big step up for Samsung and rivals the highest standards of other earbuds.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro’s battery life is good for active noise-canceling earbuds, but a real step down from the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus which offered 11 hours of playback time on a single charge. Still, you’re getting ANC here and Bixby and they’re both power hogs.
