Huawei devices will upgrade Hongmeng OS at the end of June this year

Huawei’s Hongmeng OS has been talking about it for too long, and some models are also undergoing internal and public testing, so when will ordinary consumers be able to use it? Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei’s Consumer Business Software Department and Director of AI and Smart Full-Scenario Business Department, recently stated: “Huawei mobile phones will be able to upgrade the Hongmeng system (consumer) from the beginning of June. Welcome everyone to upgrade by then.”

In other words, in another month, the first batch of consumer terminals will officially push the Hongmeng OS. It is estimated that there will be flagship models such as the Mate 40 series, P40 series, Mate 30 series, and Mate X2.

Of course, according to the current situation, it is impossible to push the Hongmeng OS for all models in June. This requires a relatively long process, but it is foreseeable that once the first batch starts, other models will continue to keep up.

It’s just not clear when the glory of “separation” will be obtained when Hongmeng OS will be obtained. Wang Chenglu previously proposed that by the end of this year, the total number of mobile phones, tablets, and IoT devices equipped with Hongmeng OS will exceed 300 million.

Huawei’s vice chairman and rotating chairman Hu Houkun also revealed that Hongmeng OS has attracted more than 20 hardware vendors and more than 280 application vendors to participate in ecological construction.

At the end of April, some Huawei mobile phone users have already received the public beta version of the developer of Hongmeng OS 2.0, but compared to EMUI 11, at least it seems that the changes are not too much on the surface.
