Finally, the wait is over, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro users now receiving MIUI 12 update Globally. The MIUI 12 version is based on the Android 10 operating system. It was introduced back in April this year and offered to a wide range of devices over the past few months. This version comes with a host of improvements and new features for the added privacy of users. It also gives better control to the user over the kind of permissions accessed by various apps.
Additionally, this update optimized the full-screen gestures are now ignored on the Lock screen alarm page as well as Animations in selected scenes. In this update, Xiaomi fix the notification shade wasn’t displayed correctly in Dark mode.
