The PlayStation Network could be offline in these hours, or at least the reports of problems to the PSN online service of PS5 and PS4 are multiplying following the system update on consoles, distributed today, March 23, 2022.
The official page that shows the status of the PlayStation Network does not report problems at this time, so it is possible that the European servers are not affected by the problem, but numerous international newspapers report the inability to access the online platform, as far as games are concerned. Multiplayer but also to be able to log in to titles that require online credentials such as PS Plus games.

Numerous reports report errors such as “Cannot connect to PlayStation Network” and “Connection failed to PlayStation Network”, particularly with regard to American users and sites , so it is possible that the problem is located in that area. However, it seems to have happened shortly after the release of the system update for PS4 and PS5 released today, which could be the cause of this variation.
