Switch from Android 13 to Android 12

After using the Android 13 stable version users say it’s not like what we were using as its beta version. This stable version comes for the Pixel phone and its Unified Pixel launcher misses some of its appearances like the Google logo, Camera icon, and lens. Pixel 6, 6 Pro, or 6a phone users face this problem and you can switch back to the Android 12 stable version. The procedure of downgrading the OS from its current version to older is the same. Pixel users who have been using this device for a long time know this, but it’s new for those who have been using Pixel recently.

Android Flash tool is very useful for flash factory images on Pixel devices easily. This downgrading OS process can’t be performed in some Pixel devices Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a. After sideloading Android 13 stable build in these devices that is the reason, you can’t downgrade. In this process, there is one OTA update that has a bootloader update that increments the anti-rollback version. It’s clear that once you update OS in the Pixel 6 series you can’t roll back.

This process is only possible when you are using the Android 13 beta version. You can only switch back to Android 12 only once. This process only works on Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a. Before starting this process, you should take a backup of your phone data. In this procedure, your phone is wiped out several times so make sure you take a backup before. There is also an available Android Flash Tool based on Chrome.

Fast Method to Unenroll from the Beta:

  • If you’re using the Android 13 beta version and go back to the Android stable version, then open your phone and select the “Opt out” button. After that, it will send you an OTA update and wipe out all your data and install Android 12.1 and Android 12L.
  • This method is fast and easy and before following this method take backup of your data.

Steps to switch back to Android 12:
