Google Home app brings redesigned controls for TVs, fans and more

To follow the trend of next-generation design, Google brings a new Google Home app with redesigned controls to make the home devices smarter. Google said those redesigned changes give benefits to fans, air purifiers, vacuum cleaners, blinds, TVs, and other most used home devices. They presumably referring to you on that page from Home Feed where to select a home device.

This is not clear yet whether all this change is cosmetic or it will be functionality improvements. This Camera is not specified not for smart display and the speaker is also not described. Even one more thing not clear yet is that all this new Google Home app redesigned benefits only home devices and Chromecast-connected screens also.

Google Home app redesigned controls are now available with version 2.57 of Google Home in iOS. But there is still time for rolling out for Android devices. All these changes come from server-side components and can’t notice any further change when updating it.

Google Home brought interactive device toggles in the main grid which last visual update. You can easily perform some takes like (play/pause. volume on/off. and brightness) by tapping or sliding. Now the Home Feed tab similar to before but adds a compact list to show more “recent and relevant” updates. All these features may come in Tablet soon.
