Android’s Reading mode transform article in mini podcast

Nowadays, people like to listen to podcasts and audio for news, entertainment, and for others. Most of the time users get information in articles that they need to read. Google brought the Reading Mode app to Android last December. Currently, the company enhanced this feature to transform articles into podcasts.

In this Reading mode app, it can read the articles with the text-to-speech model. It is similar to the TalkBack feature available on Android.

With this Reading mode app feature users read the article online and can do other tasks side-by-side. Users download this app from Play Store and for updates they get separate from Android OS. As per the 9to5Google, they release the first update for this app.

With this recent update, the Readding user can listen to audio podcasts even when they use other apps and turn off the screen. This enhances the Reading Mode app experience more than before. When you locked your phone, playback stopped instantly.

The latest update replaces the approach with neat media player-like controls in the notification shade once the Reading mode is active and there are some other controls like play And pause or skip to the next sentence while converting the article to podcast.

At last, when the user downloads a recent update for the Reading mode it runs in the background by default and the user can turn it on whenever they want it through the app settings.
