International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker has released the data of Wrist Worn Wearable Device Companies by Shipment Volume for Q3 2020.
Wrist-worn wearables include Smartwatches (e.g. Apple Watch, Wear OS watches), Basic Watches (e.g. Huawei Watch GT, Fossil’s Hybrid watches), and Wristbands (e.g. Xiaomi Mi Band).

Xiaomi becomes No 1 Wrist-Worn Wearable Device Companies by Shipment Volume for Q3,2020. Xiaomi leads the market with a market share of 24.5 %. Wrist-worn wearables shipments reached 13.5 million during the quarter, 12.8 million of which were basic wristbands.
Xiaomi is followed by Apple in second place with a market share of 21.6%. Apple’s expanding Watch lineup also ensured that devices were available at multiple price points including new mid-level products such as the Watch SE. Apple’s shipments reached 11.8 million during the quarter. Huawei ranked third with a market share of 19.5%.
