January 2021 security patch update rolled out for Galaxy Note 8

Samsung has just launched 3 new phones of its Galaxy S series lineup which is Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus & Galaxy S21 Ultra. On one side, the launch event and on the other hand providing updates, Samsung considers its work very well.

Now, the company has officially released January 2021 security patch update to its old Note series flagship Galaxy Note 8 with the build number N950FXXSEDTL1 and brings fixes for 1 critical and 47 high levels of CVEs.

This software update is now available for some European countries including Germany, Switzerland, and more. It will also arrive for the Galaxy Note 8 users in other countries.

How To Check For The Update Manually:

  • Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
