Xiaomi Mi 10 was among the very first devices to get the Android 11 update. Also, the beta stable version has been out for the Global and Chinese Mi 10 units for quite some time. However, a wider rollout is still awaited for the Chinese and Global Mi 10 units as a bug prevented the same from transpiring.
The Chinese Mi 10 variant recently got a patched Android 11 build which was free from bugs that had been preventing the wider rollout while we speculated that the Global units might also get a similar update soon.

Talking about the December 2020 patch update, it comes with firmware version V12.2.8.0.RJBCNXM, and weighs 3.9GB in size. The update gets the usual MIUI 12 design and animation changes along with increased system security.
