March 2021 patch update now live for Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm

The Huawei Watch GT 2 is powered by the company’s Kirin A1 processor. Huawei developed this chip specifically for wearables, including smartwatches and wireless headphones. It competes with the Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC which is used by most WearOS devices, and the Exynos 9110 SoC which powers the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2.

There is support for Bluetooth 5.1 along with GPS which can be used to track outdoor runs. The device is water-resistant to up to 5 ATMs, so you will be able to take it for a swim. The 46mm variant is also capable of receiving calls over Bluetooth.

According to the latest information, Huawei has officially rolled out the current month patch – March 2021 security patch update for Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm to improved system stability. This update can identify by the build number 1.0.11.38 and the size package of this update is 21.26MB.

As per the report, this software update currently rolled out in China and will be pushed to all users in 3~7 days. If you have not received the new version upgrade notification, just wait patiently.

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose the latest software update, follow the onscreen instructions to update your smartwatch.
