Disneyland will support the use of iPhone and Apple Watch to enter the park

Disney announced the launch of the MagicBands bracelet as early as 2013, integrated Bluetooth and RFID features, instead of tickets used in the park. According to the Phone Arena, Disney officially stated that it will launch MagicMobile service later this year, similar to e-tickets, supporting Apple iPhone and Apple Watch, and you can enter the park with a single swipe.

The MagicMobile service will use the NFC feature of a mobile phone or smartwatch to use the device as an e-wallet, and enter the park by being close to a dedicated sensor, making it easy for users to book tickets directly on the mobile phone and simplify the process. Officials said that the new features can be similar to the MagicBands bracelet experience.

Disney stated that MagicBands will still provide services normally. And there will be new colors and a large number of exterior designs with Disney characters as the theme. In addition, the MagicMobile service will not replace the “My Disney Experience” app, which is used by guests to stay in a Disney resort hotel as an electronic key.
