OnePlus is about to launch a new flagship OnePlus 9/Pro, its outstanding feature is the cooperation with the high-end camera brand Hasselblad. In a short video, the company explained that OnePlus hopes to use Hasselblad’s technology to adjust and improve its cameras.
In the video, OnePlus founder, CEO, and chief product officer Liu Zuohu explained that they have received a large number of requests from customers, hoping that OnePlus phones can have better color reproduction.
Liu Zuohu pointed out that they need to “cooperate with real heavyweight partners” to solve this problem, which is why they chose Hasselblad. As part of the collaboration, the two companies have entered into a three-year agreement “to jointly develop the next generation of a smartphone camera system for future OnePlus flagship device”, which includes adjusting the camera’s color reproduction to make it look more natural.

Hasselblad’s global marketing manager Bronius Rudnickas said that the two companies have successfully achieved their goals and achieved excellent color quality. Cooperation with OnePlus means that their customers will be able to take the best photos.
