Xiaomi has started rolling out the February 2021 security patch update for the Redmi 7A device Globally. This is still an Android 10-based UI update and not Android 11. Since then two major MIUI updates and one Android firmware upgrade have been shipped.
Talking about the February 2021 patch update for Redmi 7A, it comes with firmware version V11.0.2.0.QFLMIXM, and weighs 2.0GB in size. The update gets the usual MIUI 12 design and animation changes along with increased system security. Xiaomi has already rolled out the MIUI 12 for the Redmi 7A in China.
