Opera updates its minimalist version of the mobile browser’s appearance design changes significantly

Opera today updated its minimalist version of the Opera Touch mobile browsing application, which has not been upgraded for two and a half years. Now this version is simply named “Opera”. The revised version of Opera adopts a “cleaner and flatter design” to reflect its lightweight heritage and its status as a minimalist application. To provide users with a fast and safe browsing experience.

The revision of Opera’s user interface also introduced a cleaner and flatter design, making the appearance of the browser more refined than before. The new appearance replaces the diagonal background mode originally introduced in Opera Touch with a flat surface, and eliminates bubble prompts and shadows from other elements.

A new icon has been added to the bottom bar of the browser and the floating quick operation button. The user can touch the button to enter a radial menu and use the thumb to slide to achieve one-handed operation.

The browser has also added a feature called Flow, which can use a QR code to securely link the iOS application with the Mac. Users can share links, notes, pictures, files and other information through a secure and private connection without logging in.

In addition, Opera also has a built-in Ethereum wallet to prevent online cryptocurrency mining in disguise, that is, “crypto hijacking.”

Opera said that in the 12 months ending in February, its number of iOS users increased by more than 65%, and believes that this increase was partly due to Apple ‘s decision to let users choose the default browser in iOS 14.
