Apple today released a small security update for iOS and iPadOS 14.4.2. These updates have been close to three weeks since the release of iOS/iPadOS 14.4.1, and more than a month has passed since the iOS/iPadOS 14.4 update.
The iOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 update is now available for free download, and all eligible devices can use the software via wireless OTA in the “Settings” application. To access the new software, go to “Settings”>”General”>”Software Update”. According to Apple’s release notes, this update provides important security updates, and it is recommended that all users upgrade as soon as possible.
